All of us knew the day would arrive, even though it appeared with hardly any fanfare, when Twitter would give in to the advances of Google and Bing or even succumb to some real-world pressures to monetize its Online Business enterprise. In other announcements, the two primary search engines talked about an agreement with the micro-blogging supergiant, which allows the search engines to reproduce information reflecting real-time “tweets” which are related to specific keyword searches.

In this instance with Bing, scoring a major touchdown in its widely proclaimed battle against the world heavy weight champ Google, its interface went live right away. Directly accessible through its very own page rather than on the search engine home page, Bing’s interface also provides a list of tweets which match the keywords specified, in some situations underneath the webpage the tweets actually refer to. They also have a prominent Twitter trends cloud to give you an idea of what is hot and what is not.

Google, meanwhile, merely stated on its company blog that it would be including Twitter returns with search engine results in due course and the posting may well have been just a hasty reaction to the emerging news from Microsoft.

For Internet marketers, these announcements may help to make more sense of the Twitter phenomenon and open up opportunities for those who are fleet of foot and can imagine opportunities and scenarios. By being aware of hot topics and how they could affect your operation or by creating twists that could be applied to generate some publicity, you could instantly post some optimized tweets and appear on the first page of Bing’s Twitter engine results.

Twitter has its own search feature of course but it is not widely used. Unlike their own feature the results displayed on the Bing page display the extended URLs and domain names of referenced pages and not the bit links we are used to seeing within Twitter-dom.

It will be interesting to experiment with these new features and to really unravel the repercussions of what are sure to be significant developments in the world of online business and marketing. We need more than 140 characters to understand the full implications!

Using a real estate agent puts the benefits of her knowledge at your fingertips. You have to realize, however, that an agent is doing much more than showing potential buyers around your home. They know about the real estate market. They are performing the fine art of selling. An agent knows how to market a product to potential buyers, which features to mention, how to mention them, how to suggest possibilities and plant ideas in the buyers’ minds that they may not have come up with on their own. The art of the sale is often about making others see possibilities when there is real estate for sale. But you can do all of this stuff yourself, right?

If you have all the info you require to finalize the sale, then you could potentially save money and time showing the real estate for sale yourself. If you know how to present the floor plan, for instance, and how to show off your house’s most attractive features, then perhaps you should give it a shot. However, many people do not have the skills to sell their home, nor the knowledge of the real estate market, and will benefit greatly from letting an experienced professional do it. Interestingly quite a few individuals recently have successfully market their houses via classified advertising online after trying most other methods.

It is difficult to appreciate what goes into a job simply by observing a person in action. Even though you may watch a real estate agent show around a potential buyer and think that it looks easy, you have to take into consideration the knowledge the agent has of the areas they represent and the ability to get even more information. That may seem like a lot of benefit in itself, but the real estate agent’s value to your deal doesn’t actually stop there. The agent’s job only begins when someone puts a piece of real estate for sale.

If you do business through a real estate agent, you will get the benefit, not only of his or her experience and networking skills, but also from a solid base of real estate education. In essence, your real estate agent is a smorgasbord of information that you would either not have access to, or that you would have to spend a lot of time tracking down.

All of these skills that a real estate agent possesses are fantastic and will help you get and keep a buyer interested long enough to get them to the negotiation table. And that is the time when the agent’s skills will really become evident. You really see an agent shine at the negotiation table. That is because the agent has done this enough times to develop know-how of the human thought process. A real estate agent knows how to keep a poker face or how to disguise what he or she is truly thinking, how to gage interest and how to get the buyer to accept terms that are better for the seller. As a non-professional, it is entirely possible that you will miss valuable cues that signal the buyer is willing to do what you ask, whereas a professional will be able to seize the opportunities that present themselves. An agent brings far more to the table than simple knowledge of the real estate market.

The primary reason that so many individuals are striving to do business from their homes is that there’s no need for any significant cash investment to start up an online business and build an awesome website development for the World to see. There’s also no need to invest in any kind of product development. Anyone who has at least some expertise in a particular field can get started by just typing up an e-book and promoting it, or putting together a website and promoting products that are provided by other organisations. Take a moment to consider all the people who market products that are made by other organisations. They’re the modern version of the ‘back in the day’ door-to-door salesman, but instead of knocking on just one door at a time, they’re knocking on millions of doors all at once through the Internet.

Another very attractive quality which draws people to work-at-home jobs or small business enterprises is the fact that they have no need of employees…. a sole-proprietorship works quite well. Just one person working at a single computer in this day and age can work through more than what once required a full staff working overtime to accomplish. A sole-proprietorship enterprise doesn’t have to submit separate tax returns or pay out for any special taxes on income that’s earned in the way of a corporation. For the most part, taxes levied against a sole-proprietorship enterprise are only for personal income.

The Internet is certainly widely renowned as the “Information Super Highway” for good reason. A motivated individual can make an extremely good living selling specialised information on the Web. People from around the world – literally everywhere, have come to understand that if you want to find out about anything, you just have to log-on the Internet and Google it. People have also learned that if they want specialised information, they’re going to have to pay for it – and they’re more than happy to do just this. Any individual who has a certain amount of expertise on a particular subject could easily call themselves a ‘guru’ and market their knowledge across the Internet. All that’s required is a bit of website development to set up an online business, where you then publish the content, market and advertise the information – and then start selling to the World! It’s an absolutely fantastic concept, and information is the perfect commodity. There’s no inventory to deal with, no shipping or handling costs, and no physical delivery of products. Everyone gets exactly what they need. The seller makes money by supplying information to individuals who want this information…. everyone’s happy!

There are so many benefits to having an online business, where you just sit at home and tinker around with your website development, promoting what you’re selling, making sales, and consolidating your ever-increasing net worth through international currencies and accounts. Happy Marketing!!

Important Article Promotional Practices

Article marketing is one of the most effective ways to market your business.

In this day and age of information, your customers are looking for more than just a great product at a great price. The most successful companies also provide information and education along with these.

For example, if you have a clothing store, you don’t want people thinking of you as just another place to shop. Your goal is to be a source for all things having to do with your industry: news, information, tips and advice.

Best article marketing

Thanks to the internet, you now have the chance to market your business articles in new and exciting ways through the hundreds of free article listing websites. When you write your articles, you can include links that lead directly to your business website to generate more traffic for your online store.

A word of caution: your article may be used to promote your business, but you don’t want it to be a long advertisement. No matter how well-written it is, if your article is spam it is going to get ignored.; Remember Your article should be devoted first to education and then to promoting awarness about your business.

Another important tip to include in your best article marketing arsenal is to use your articles in a regular newsletter. It can be either an electronic or paper newsletter—but either way you should be sending it out to your customer database on at least a monthly basis. The only thing better than your customers searching and finding your articles online is having them delivered directly to their mail/email boxes.

When writing your articles, remember that you want them to be short (no more than 500 words) with memorable titles. Most people have only a few minutes each day to devote to reading, so you want to focus on quality over quantity. Employ these best article marketing practices and watch how your efforts impact your business.

One of the simplest ways to earn money online and drive traffic to your site or product is through article marketing. Articles full of keywords to your product are important. Make sure you choose keywords which are aimed at your site and are words your customers would choose to find your product. It is important to make sure any links to your site/blog are functioning. Non active links will lose you customers, so often update keywords and check links.

A eye catching title to the article is important as well. Most readers will simply bypass your article if the title fails to grab there attention. Your title should describe your article content and be key word loaded.

Creating Blogs is yet another way to increase your traffic. Remember that Blogs should be ’personal and ‘conversational’. Your Blog will cost no more than time and utilize it for links back to your main site.Leave comments on other Blogs in your industry and keep up to date on keywords and links.

Another effective way of internet marketing is through video. Videos are an easy way of engaging customers and nowadays more accessible than before. This is a cost effective way to increase traffic and time spent on your site.

E-mail marketing is second only to ‘Search Marketing’ so is still a major factor in internet marketing. Compared to printed mail, e-mail is relatively low cost and still just as effective. Unlike many other forms of internet marketing, e-mail can be easily tracked, performance wise.
